Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential Extension Available)
Pay Rate: $60.00 per Hour
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours per Week
Shift: Day Shift | 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our surgical services team in San Dimas, California. This is a 13-week contract assignment with the possibility of extension. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Operating Room (OR), Pre-Operative, Post-Operative, or Surgical Nursing environment and be committed to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to surgical patients throughout the perioperative process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Surgery, Operating Room (OR), Pre-Op, or Post-Op nursing
