Responsibilities
The Process Engineer will drive efficiency, optimize manufacturing processes, and support new product launches. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement work measurement programs to establish labor standards and improve utilization
- Analyze production data, workflows, and facility layouts to improve throughput, reduce costs, and optimize operations
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, time studies, and capability analysis
- Support new product launches, including equipment installation, PPAP submissions, and PSO activities
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
- Evaluate and recommend new equipment, technologies, and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Environmental Health & Safety requirements
Experience
- 3 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in automotive
- Strong background in process improvement, data analysis, and workflow optimization
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Kaizen, Lean principles)
- Familiarity with PPAP, PSO, and new product launch processes
- Ability to interpret technical work instructions and production data
- Lean / Six Sigma certification or experience preferred
