Our client, a leading metal fabrication manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee accounting operations and drive departmental improvements through mentorship, training and growth. The company has over 30 years of experience manufacturing highly engineered, specialized EV and HVAC products and employs 1,700 people in the US and Europe.

Responsibilities
The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing the accounting operations of the company and ensuring the accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial reporting. This person will be in a manufacturing environment playing a critical role in cost accounting, inventory valuation, financial controls and operational financial analysis. The Financial Controller will also manage the accounting team and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), internal controls and regulatory requirements. Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree with a focus in Accounting or Finance
- 7 years progressive accounting experience, 3 years in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks
- Experience with direct cost accounting, inventory accounting, and ERP systems
- Experience interacting with operations and plant leadership
