Responsibilities
The EHS Specialist will support compliance, training, and safety initiatives at assigned facilities:
- Maintain and update safety programs
- Conduct safety inspections and follow up on corrective actions
- Manage hazardous waste labeling, storage, and documentation
- Support regulatory reporting
- Conduct incident investigations and track corrective actions
- Provide safety guidance to supervisors and employees
- Collaborate with corporate EHS and external partners on compliance initiatives
- Travel occasionally to secondary facilities for audits, training, or investigations (~Once per quarter)
Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, occupational safety, or related field
- 2–5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Comfortable working independently and influencing employees and supervisors without direct authority
