Position Overview
Vanguard Maintenance & Electrical is seeking a Project Coordinator to support large-scale electrical construction operations at the Abilene Data Center. This role plays a key part in keeping projects organized and moving efficiently by supporting Project Managers, Superintendents, and field leadership with documentation, scheduling, coordination, and communication.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-critical construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers and Superintendents with daily project coordination
- Track and manage project documentation including RFIs and submittals
- Maintain accurate project records in construction management platforms (ACC, Procore, or similar)
- Assist with scheduling, manpower tracking, and material coordination
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams for material deliveries and logistics
- Attend project meetings, take detailed meeting minutes, and distribute action items
- Assist with QA/QC documentation and compliance tracking
- Maintain clear communication between field operations and office leadership
- Keep digital project files organized and up to date
- 1–3 years of experience in construction project coordination or project administration
- Electrical construction experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with commercial or data center projects is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with ACC, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
