What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior IT Support Specialist position at Vanguard Maintenance and Electrical, Inc.?
If you’re early in your IT career and excited by the idea of keeping teams connected, systems organized, and technology running smoothly in a fast‑growing company, this IT Technician role is built for you. We’re looking for someone who brings curiosity, reliability, and a strong desire to learn someone who enjoys solving everyday tech problems, supporting coworkers, and building a solid IT foundation that helps the business run better each day.
Think hands‑on troubleshooting, device setup, real‑world exposure to modern IT tools, and direct mentorship from an experienced IT Manager all within a growing, no‑bureaucracy environment where your work is visible and valued.
About The Role
The IT Technician will support the day‑to‑day technology needs of Vanguard Maintenance and Electrical Inc., working closely with the IT Manager to keep people productive, systems organized, and devices running reliably. This is a hands‑on, in‑person role suited for someone at the very beginning of their IT journey who wants exposure to real business systems, not just a help desk queue.
You’ll assist with employee setups, troubleshooting common technical issues, help manage hardware and software systems, and learn how IT supports a multi‑location construction and operations environment. The focus is on learning fundamentals the right way: organization, documentation, user support, and dependable execution.
This role offers a strong foundation for long‑term growth in IT operations, systems administration, or security.
Responsibilities
Vanguard Maintenance and Electrical Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace and do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic under applicable law.
