Senior Technical Accountant
Our client seeks a passionate Senior Technical Accountant to join their team! The ideal candidate is coachable, eager to learn, and proactive in taking on projects.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week onsite in Bend, Oregon.
Senior Technical Accountant Responsibilities
- Provide analysis and technical accounting support for various business transactions.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements during the month and year-end close processes.
- Support year-end audits, including footnote disclosures and compliance with ASC 606 and ASC 842.
- Assist in due diligence and reporting for acquisitions, contributing to operational performance reporting and strategic projects.
- Document processes, implement new solutions, and identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting function.
Senior Technical Accountant Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA, CMA, CPA a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of technical accounting experience, including consolidations, financial reporting, and ASC 606/842.
- Experience in public accounting, automotive, retail, or similar industry; prior acquisition experience a plus.
- Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle) and intermediate Excel skills required.
- Analytical mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Deadline-drive with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
