Senior Accountant Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger maintenance, cash management, cost analysis, and financial reporting to ensure accurate financial statements.
- Ensure integrity of financial data by preparing and analyzing journal entries, reports, and reconciliations for sales, costs, earnings, and taxes.
- Assist with year-end audit reviews and support improvements in financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Prepare property tax filings ensuring accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with exposure to manufacturing, distribution, or related industries a plus.
- Knowledge of fixed assets/depreciation, cash reconciliations, and property tax filing functions.
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar); advanced Excel skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
