Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment administration, and expense reconciliation.
- Process employee expenses and purchase order transactions using an accounts payable workflow system.
- Prepare and process 1099 reporting while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Support internal and external audit activities by gathering documentation and responding to accounts payable requests.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues, process urgent requests, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Experience managing the full accounts payable process, including live check processing and 1099 preparation.
- Accounts Payable experience utilizing Concur required.
- Familiarity with Financial Edge, NetSuite, or other ERP system required.
- Previous experience supporting a nonprofit, education, government, or other mission-driven organization.
- Ability to assist with audit preparation, including supporting single audits and maintaining accurate financial documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative and diverse environment.
