Material Planning Lead Responsibilities
- Lead material planning for key apparel categories, ensuring mid-to-long range plan health and on-time material delivery.
- Collaborate with product, sourcing, and category teams to align material forecasts and anticipate supply risks or opportunities.
- Use data insights to guide material lead time and capacity strategies while balancing responsiveness and sustainability.
- Influence and engage teams outside the direct supply chain to drive proactive, insight-based decision-making.
- Partner with leadership to develop and operationalize new material planning tools, analytics, and process capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, materials planning, manufacturing, or logistics.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations.
- Proven collaboration and relationship-building skills across cross-functional and global teams.
- Background in textiles or materials management highly valued; project management experience a plus.
- Strategic thinker who embraces change, drives clarity, and champions continuous improvement.
