JOB DESCRIPTION
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the physical condition of assigned properties, supporting operational efficiency, and ensuring the satisfaction of all tenants and property owners in matters relating to the condition of their units, building and grounds.
Maintenance Duties
Maintain thorough knowledge and written record of power, water and gas turnoffs, cleanout trap, fire extinguishers and fire hydrants, back checks, valves, sprinkler systems, irrigation systems, etc.
Maintain a working knowledge of how the systems on each property operate and instruct the maintenance staff on these systems
Oversee all aspects of property maintenance including grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred and emergency maintenance
Perform HVAC maintenance/repairs
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be available for night/weekend on call duty
Valid Drivers License
Physical capabilities to carry out job responsibilities including lifting 80-100 pounds, stand for extended period of time, and use both hands efficiently
Basic knowledge of residential construction, carpentry, and maintenance
