Van Duyn Center is looking for a Central Supply Coordinator to join their team! Monday - Friday 1pm - 9:30pm
Summary:
The Central Supply Coordinator will assist the Director with all the essential job duties of materials management by performing effective inventory control techniques. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that supplies are received and delivered throughout the organization, as well as, maintaining the department in a clean, organized, and functional condition.
Responsibilities:
- Experience working in healthcare and/or long term care is preferred
- Unpack and check supplies upon receipt and report discrepancies in orders to the Director
- Perform cycle counting as needed
- Respond to inquiries about order status, changes, and cancellations
- Retrieve requisitions from the inter-office electronic supply system, fill orders, and delivers supply to requesting department.
- Pack supplies that needs to be returned and ensure return labels are correct.
- Remove, document, and package all expired items for shipment.
- Issue inventory and maintain records
Requirements:
- Knowledge of supply practices, procedures and guidelines.
- Knowledge of medical supplies and equipment
- Ability to function as a team player
- Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to meet departmental objectives utilizing critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to pull, push, lift at or about 100 lbs.
- Must be able to utilize pallet jack.

Starting wage is $17.00 hourly. Monday through Friday; Day Shift 1pm - 9:30pm
