Project Executive – Data Centre Construction
Houston, Texas | Hyperscale Data Centre
Vallum Associates is representing a leading US General Contractor looking for an experienced Project Executive to lead a major hyperscale Data Centre project in Houston.
This is a key leadership hire for an established contractor continuing to expand its US Mission Critical business.
The Role
The Project Executive will be the senior project leader, responsible for overall delivery, commercial performance, client relationships and project leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overall leadership and delivery of a major hyperscale Data Centre project
- Leading Project Managers, Superintendents and wider project teams
- Managing programme, budget, resources and commercial performance
- Maintaining senior relationships with the client and key stakeholders
- Identifying and managing project risk
- Supporting preconstruction, procurement and project strategy
- Overseeing commissioning, handover and closeout
- Developing and mentoring project leadership teams
- Supporting the continued growth of the Data Centre business
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking to speak with construction leaders who have:
- 15 years of construction/project management experience
- Operated as a Project Executive, Project Director or senior-most project leader
- Major project experience with a General Contractor
- Data Centre / Mission Critical experience, ideally hyperscale
- Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
- Proven experience leading large project teams and senior client relationships
An industry-related degree is preferred, although equivalent construction experience will be considered.
