What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Development Analyst position at Vallum Associate?
Responsibilities
- Support technical due diligence for commercial and industrial (C&I) solar acquisitions.
- Assist with desktop reviews, site inspections, and technical document management.
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party contractors for field inspections.
- Review inspection findings and prepare standardized diligence reports and CapEx budget recommendations.
- Evaluate system performance, site conditions, and technical documentation to identify risks and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with engineering, development, and operations teams to support acquisition and investment decisions.
- Help develop tools, templates, and processes to improve diligence efficiency and consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience in project management, construction management, or technical due diligence within the renewable energy industry; C&I solar experience preferred.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and construction plan sets.
- Knowledge of PV systems, solar equipment, and industry best practices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Experience with Procore or CompanyCam is a plus.
- Willingness to travel periodically to project sites.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,549.41 per year
