Business Title:
- Warehouse Associate
Job Purpose:
- To ensure the efficient and accurate receiving, storing, and distribution of parts and accessories within the warehouse environment at VALLEY FORD TRUCKS- MASTER. This role involves maintaining inventory levels, processing orders, and contributing to a safe and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against packing slips and purchase orders, noting any discrepancies.
- Accurately store received parts and accessories in designated locations, utilizing a warehouse management system (if applicable) and maintaining proper organization.
- Pick and pack orders for delivery or customer pickup, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Process shipping and receiving documentation, including bills of lading, packing slips, and return authorizations.
- Maintain inventory levels by conducting regular cycle counts and reporting any discrepancies.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if applicable and certified).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel and departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or management.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Required Experience:
- 1 years of experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (preferred)
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong attention to detail
