Job Purpose:
- The Sales Porter at VALLEY FORD TRUCKS- MASTER plays a crucial role in supporting the sales team by ensuring the efficient movement and organization of vehicles within the dealership. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance and readiness of vehicles, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience and contributing to the dealership's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the movement and parking of vehicles within the dealership premises to ensure optimal space utilization and accessibility.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of vehicles, both interior and exterior, to uphold the dealership's standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to identify any maintenance needs or issues and report them promptly to the sales or service department.
- Support the sales team by preparing vehicles for customer test drives, ensuring they are fueled and ready for demonstration.
- Coordinate with the service department to facilitate the timely transportation of vehicles for servicing or repairs.
- Assist in the setup and organization of promotional displays and events within the dealership.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the dealership's operations and sales objectives.
Qualifications
Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role is preferred.
- Experience working in an automotive dealership or related industry is an advantage.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of automotive vehicles and an interest in the automotive industry.
