The Service Advisor at Valley Freightliner serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department, playing a vital role in ensuring an outstanding service experience. This position requires a combination of technical understanding, strong communication, and customer service skills to provide accurate information, expert advice, and timely updates on vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers promptly and courteously; assess their service needs with professionalism and care.
- Clearly explain recommended services, estimated repair timelines, and associated costs.
- Coordinate with technicians and service staff to ensure repairs are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates on progress and any changes in timing or pricing.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints efficiently with a solution-oriented approach.
- Accurately prepare and maintain service documentation, including work orders, reports, and customer records.
- Identify and recommend additional services or products based on customer needs and manufacturer guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as sales and parts to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience.
- Stay current on industry trends, vehicle technologies, and best practices to provide informed support.

Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent (additional technical or automotive training is a plus).

Prior experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role within the automotive or trucking industry preferred.

Proven ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary : $45,000 - $80,000
