Job Purpose:
- The Parts Driver is responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of automotive parts and accessories to various locations. This role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of the supply chain and supporting the service department by ensuring that all parts are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport automotive parts and accessories to designated locations using company vehicles.
- Verify the accuracy of parts to be delivered by checking invoices and delivery notes.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Ensure that all deliveries are made in a timely manner, adhering to the schedule provided by the dispatcher.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist in loading and unloading parts from the delivery vehicle, ensuring that all items are handled with care.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries made, including time, location, and any discrepancies encountered.
- Communicate effectively with the dispatcher and other team members to report any issues or delays in delivery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while operating the delivery vehicle.
- Support the warehouse team with inventory management and organization when not on delivery duties.

Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
