What You’ll Do
Craft & Product Excellence
- Prepare ceremonial-grade matcha beverages with accuracy, care, and consistency
- Execute proper mixing techniques, temperature control, and presentation
- Maintain deep knowledge of matcha origins, flavor profiles, caffeine content, and benefits
- Uphold beverage recipes, quality standards, and visual presentation
Guest Experience & Hospitality
- Welcome every guest with warmth, presence, and genuine enthusiasm
- Educate guests on matcha with confidence and approachability
- Guide first-time matcha drinkers and seasoned enthusiasts alike
- Create a calm, inviting atmosphere through mindful service
Cleanliness & Flow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and beautiful bar space
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and opening/closing procedures
- Support smooth café flow during both quiet and high-volume moments
Team & Culture
- Show up on time, prepared, and ready to contribute positively
- Support teammates with respect, communication, and care

Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience preferred (but not required)
- Interest in matcha, tea culture, or wellness a plus
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 60 lbs for Matcha Bar
- Availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays
