Role Overview

We’re hiring a Kiosk Specialist to support the day-to-day operation of our automated beverage kiosk and mobile beverage carts. You’ll be on the front lines of our customer experience, ensuring our kiosk is running smoothly and keeping everything clean, stocked, and ready to delight guests.

This role blends light customer interaction with hands-on operational and technical responsibilities. You’ll start by focusing on our primary kiosk and gradually expand to support other channels as Vale’s technology portfolio continues to develop.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor kiosk performance and troubleshoot issues in real time to ensure uptime and a seamless customer experience.
• Provide light, friendly assistance to customers when needed (e.g., helping with ordering or answering basic questions).
• Execute daily opening and closing procedures for kiosks.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock machines to maintain high operational and hygiene standards.
• Coordinate beverage inventory and delivery schedules with the operations and café team.
• Support basic maintenance tasks and escalate technical issues to the engineering team when needed.
• Provide feedback to the team on recurring issues, customer behavior, and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist in supporting other channels, such as carts, as needed. 

Qualifications (Must-Have)

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues on the spot.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with good communication skills.
• Ability to follow processes and maintain consistency in daily operations.
• Comfortable with light technical tasks and learning new systems/tools.
• Ability to lift moderate weight and be on your feet for extended periods.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in food & beverage, retail, or hospitality environments.
• Experience working with equipment, kiosks, or light technical systems.
• Familiarity with inventory management or restocking processes.
• Interest in robotics, automation, or consumer technology.
• Startup experience or comfort working in fast-changing environments.
