Responsibilities

• No restroom cleaning is required for this position. Building management takes care of restroom as part of our rent.
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair.
• Whisk matcha to order
• Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Manage food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for change and totals.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating spaces.
• Assist in food preparation and serving of baked goods or light snacks as needed.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without sacrificing quality.
• Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests.
• Support team members in daily operations, contributing to a positive work environment focused on teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience with serving food and beverages confidently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members seamlessly. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50 - $18.00 per hour
