What are the responsibilities and job description for the Busser - Vagabond MKE position at Vagabond?
- Clearing and resetting tables promptly after guests finish their meals, including removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware, and replacing linens and napkins
- Assisting servers with food and beverage service when needed, such as refilling drinks or delivering plates
- Maintaining cleanliness of floors, furniture, and side stations, ensuring the dining area is tidy and sanitary
- Stocking service stations with essential supplies like silverware, plates, napkins, and condiments
- Pre-bussing tasks, such as removing empty plates during meals and replenishing water or utensils to anticipate guest needs
- Supporting kitchen staff occasionally, including helping with dishwashing or organizing glassware
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift trays or dishes for extended periods
- Attention to detail to ensure tables are properly set and dining areas remain clean
- Customer service orientation, ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience
