Vaco is partnering with a growingorganization that is expanding its U.S. footprint and building out key areas of its accounting team. They are seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to take ownership of the AP function and support a global shared services structure.

What You'll Do* Serve as the primary point of contact for Accounts Payable activity in the U.S.
* Partner daily with a global shared services AP team to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing.
* Act as a liaison between internal departments to resolve PO, receiving, and invoice discrepancies.
* Manage vendor relationships, including obtaining statements and performing monthly reconciliations.
* Oversee AP month-end processes, including payment proposal runs and approval workflows.
* Assist with the transition from third-party payment processing into SAP.
* Monitor AP KPIs and ensure timely turnaround of requests and documentation.
* Set up vendor master data and manage AP setups within SAP.
* Handle occasional invoice entry when needed.
* SAP experience is required
* 3-5 years of Accounts Payable experience
* Ability to work independently with minimal handholding
* Strong communication skills and comfort interacting across departments and with global teams
* Experience handling vendor reconciliations, statement reviews, and process ownership
* High level of initiative, organizational skills, and follow-through

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
