What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interim Controller | Hospitality Industry | Heavy Remote position at Vaco by Highspring?
We are working with a hospitality/hotel management company that is seeking an interim VP, Finance/Controller that brings experience in a hotel or hospitality industry background. This person will lead day to day accounting (through a team) and month-end close functions, process and workflow optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and routine deliverables for their assets.
While there is no physical office in Nashville right now, the ideal candidate will be local to greater Nashville, TN, and bring experience managing the accounting function in the hospitality/hotel industry. Real estate management may be considered.
Requirements:
- Experience leading corporate accounting and consolidations for a hospitality/hotel management organization
- Proven experience managing reporting for assets, and leading/contributing to month-end close functions
- Local to Nashville (evenutally may be hybrid)
- Readily available and able to commit to 3 months

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
