About the Role


We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Controller to lead our accounting operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution, and enjoys building and improving processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and revenue recognition
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP (or IFRS, if applicable)
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with the CFO and leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance metrics
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and system enhancements
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA strongly preferred)
• 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
• Experience managing audits and working with external auditors
• Proficiency with accounting systems and ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle)
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner cross-functionally
