Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, cash management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain robust internal controls.
- Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and performance reports for senior leadership.
- Conduct detailed account analysis and develop forecasts to support strategic business decisions.
- Manage the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of financial software systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to meet organizational needs.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the finance team in daily operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar leadership role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory reporting standards.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial management tools.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- Demonstrated experience managing accounts payable processes.
- Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
