We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Customer Service & Warehouse Data Entry Specialist to join our operational team. In this role, you will be on the front lines of our returns process, combining hands-on physical inspection in the warehouse with precise data entry in our systems. You will evaluate returned items, make clear decisions on refund approvals or disputes, manage inventory restocks, and log all details accurately. Duties
- Stand and work directly in the warehouse to unbox, inspect, and assess incoming customer returns.
- Review return requests and evaluate product condition to decide whether to accept, refund, or dispute claims.
- Separate damaged items from pristine inventory and accurately log damages in our system.
- Prep, re-package, and put undamaged, sellable inventory back onto store shelves and bin locations.
- Enter return logs, inventory updates, and claim details accurately into our inventory management systems.
- Communicate refund decisions, return statuses, or dispute details clearly through written or system updates.
- Maintain an organized, efficient, and clean returns processing area within the warehouse.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail to catch subtle product defects, damages, or missing components.
- Basic computer literacy and high accuracy in data entry to update inventory systems efficiently.
- Ability to stand, walk, and handle physical packages comfortably throughout the scheduled shift.
- Sound judgment and critical thinking skills to fairly evaluate return disputes and refund eligibility.
- Excellent organizational skills to keep accepted stock, damaged goods, and pending claims clearly separated.
- Reliable, efficient, and able to work well independently in a warehouse setting.
Shift Schedule: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday (with potential to expand into a full-time position).
