- Must be local to Burbank/Glendale, but many remote days and more days in the office initially for on boarding and training.
- Studio residuals experience is strongly preferred and this same experience at a guild is also very much helpful.
Description/Comment:
Within Enterprise Controllership, the Residuals Department is responsible for processing residuals payments as a result of The Company’s contractual reporting and guild obligations to our talent for all business units across the Enterprise. This position will be responsible for facilitating residuals payments as a result of Company’s contractual reporting and guild obligations to our talent, foreign guilds and union pension & health plans. The position oversees the processing of residuals and communicates any issues to senior management.
- Perform the responsibilities necessary to process residuals payments to talent, foreign guilds and union pension & health plans timely, efficiently and in accordance with guild and internal processing requirements.
- Investigate, research and resolve potential issues impacting the contractual reporting and guild obligations during the quarterly payment processing
- Partner with various business units across the organization and external production partners to expedite and support residuals processing requests
- Communicate directly with third party residuals payroll companies; provide support to resolve potential issues
- Respond to inquiries from both internal and external customers
- Be an active team partner by identifying opportunities to streamline processes and suggest improvements
Basic Qualifications
- Degree Preferred or Relevant Years of Experience
- Must be comfortable reading and understating contracts and collective bargaining agreements
- Must have solid interpersonal and communication skills
- Ideal candidate will have entertainment and or residual experience
