What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Design Engineer position at US Tech Solutions?

Working hours:
- 40Hrs per week
- Aligned to 1st shift eastern time zone working hours
- Execute 2D & 3D gas turbine rotor finite element analyses in Ansys
- Perform typical post processing exercises such as LCF crack initiation, LCF crack propagation, summarize bolted joint behavior, strength evaluations, etc.
- Pull CAD models from PLM
- Work CAD models in Siemens NX
- Summarize and document analytical results
- Support automation of typical tasks with Python as needed
- Support defect evaluation through analysis
- Present on routine project status meetings
- Strong communication skills
- Highly collaborative and works well in team environment.
- 6 years of relevant work experience.
- 3D Cad Modeling
- ANSYS Finite Element Analysis
- Fracture Mechanics Analysis
- Low Cycle Fatigue
- Microsoft Office
- Rotor Design
- Siemens NX
- Python Automation
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
