Job Description:
- We are seeking a Q-SYS AV Control Systems Engineer to support a large-scale, enterprise audiovisual environment across global workplace portfolios.
- This role is centered on operational reliability, system health, and control system support, ensuring conference room technology performs consistently and issues are identified and resolved before impacting employees.
- You will help support an environment consisting of :200 Zoom Rooms and :25 integrated AV control systems (Q-SYS), partnering closely with Workplace Technology and IT teams to deliver a seamless in-room experience.
- Maintain and support Q-SYS control system configurations across multiple rooms and environments
- Ensure high availability and operational reliability of conference room AV systems
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and rapid issue resolution for AV-related incidents
- Proactively identify and resolve issues impacting room readiness and user experience
- Support day-to-day operations for a large AV estate, including Zoom Rooms and integrated Q-SYS environments
- Partner with cross-functional teams to standardize, optimize, and scale AV deployments
- Contribute to continuous improvement of AV system performance and reliability
- Strong experience with Q-SYS Designer (configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting)
- Hands-on experience supporting enterprise AV environments (conference rooms, Zoom Rooms, collaboration spaces)
- Solid understanding of AV signal flow (audio, video, and control systems)
- Experience troubleshooting end-to-end AV issues (hardware, control systems, and basic networking)
- Exposure to control logic and scripting (Lua or similar) within AV ecosystems
- Ability to diagnose issues in production environments with minimal disruption
- Familiarity with DSPs, codecs, cameras, microphones, and touch panel systems
- Exposure to standardization and scaling of AV room designs
