GCP Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description:

• We are seeking a GCP Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support enterprise cloud initiatives focused on building, automating, and securing scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud. This role involves working across complex environments to enhance platform reliability, networking, and deployment capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, provision, and manage scalable GCP infrastructure using Terraform.
• Operate and optimize GKE clusters and Cloud Run services in production environments.
• Implement and manage networking, connectivity, and security controls across GCP projects.
• Support CI/CD pipeline enhancements and migration initiatives.
• Drive security remediation efforts based on priority and compliance requirements.
• Enable backup, disaster recovery, and cross-region resilience strategies.
• Contribute to platform standardization and self-service enablement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and multi-vendor teams to deliver cloud solutions.

Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) core infrastructure services.
• Expertise in GKE (cluster setup, operations, internal/external configurations).
• Experience with Cloud Run deployments (including Blue-Green strategies).
• Proficiency in Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) and Git-based workflows.
• Strong understanding of GCP networking (Shared VPC, VPC Service Controls, Interconnect, NCC).
• Experience with IAM roles, service accounts, and cloud security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar) and modernization efforts.
• Experience managing Linux VMs (RHEL) and implementing security hardening.
