Flooring General Manager

USIG has been an authorized flooring provider for the nation's largest home improvement retailer for over thirty years. USIG is looking for a General Manager for our Lake Wales facility.

· Manage all flooring installation projects

· Supervise subcontractor flooring crews

· Load and unload carpet & pad trucks with a forklift

· Load carpet rolls & pad into subcontractor's vehicle with forklift

· Manage the process, reporting, and resolution of escalated issues to ensure customer satisfaction following facility performance standards.

· Provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction based on the performance of facility operations.

· Display a sense of urgency to address and satisfy customer issues.

· Present new ideas to improve the level of service that customers receive and implement new business strategies.

Job Requirements

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with many structured customer touchpoints.

· Previous Management/Supervision experience is required.

· Some warehouse work will be required.

· 2 years of flooring installation, construction, job site inspection experience, or retail management, especially in the home improvement industry, is required.

· Product knowledge of multiple flooring surfaces is a plus.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Flooring installation: 2 years (Preferred)
• Construction: 2 years (Preferred)
• Construction management: 2 years (Preferred)

Base Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
