What are the responsibilities and job description for the Labor And Employment Attorney position at Upperline Legal?
Our client is an AmLaw 50 law firm in Houston, Texas seeking to hire a 2-4 year Labor and Employment Litigation Associate. Some prior L&E experience is required in order to apply.
The associate would work directly with the L&E partner in Houston and cross-office with the L&E team. Candidates will work on discrimination, retaliation, wage & hour, individual and class action employment litigation matters.
There is a 3 days in the office and 2 remote days policy. Beginning January 1st, 2027, the policy will change to 4 days in the office.
Compensation: Cravath base and bonus scale
Billable hours: 1850 annually, and 2000 for Cravath bonus. 150 hours of pro bono, recruiting and citizenship hours may be applied toward the 2000 goal. Topper bonus above 2200.
