POSITION TITLE: Food Service Staff Member (UPMS or 4th & 5th Grade Center)
REPORTS TO: Food Service Manager/Director of Food Service
Primary Location: Assignments will be made based upon needs of the District/Food Service Department
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Monday through Friday: 186 school days for the 2025-2026school year (4.5 hours per day)
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Food Service experience
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.
• Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Assists with setting up all lines with food before lunch
• Assists in helping in the dish room in between the lunch periods
• Assists in ensuring that the kitchen and cafeteria are clean and sanitized after all meals are served
• Serves lunch to students and operate Point of Sale (cashier) system, during lunch periods
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Food Service Manager/Food Service Director at primary location and throughout district as needed
