Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed, accurate estimates for commercial, industrial, and controls projects.
- Handle both plan/spec projects and design assist/design build opportunities.
- Perform thorough on-screen take-o s (bonus points if you’re already familiar with AccuBid or similar estimating software).
- Communicate with contractors, owners, and team members to clarify project details and follow up as needed.
- Prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively so nothing slips through the cracks.
- At least 5 years of hands-on electrical estimating experience.
- Solid communication skills—you’re comfortable reaching out and following up with clients, contractors, and owners.
- Experience with digital take-o s and estimating tools (AccuBid experience is a strong plus).
- The ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines without losing your cool.
