Join our dynamic kitchen staff as a Dishwasher, where you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Required shifts: Saturday and Sunday mornings, 8:30am - close (around 2:30pm); weekdays as needed during busy season and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup.
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring the dining area remains clean and organized as needed.
• Follow proper manual handling techniques to safely lift heavy pots, trays, and dishware.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools in accordance with safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations.
• Support overall kitchen health and safety standards by adhering to hygiene protocols and reporting hazards promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
• Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with operating basic kitchen equipment such as dishwashers or sinks is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following health and safety guidelines.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff and hospitality operations.
