JOB The University of North Alabama’s Spencer College of Education and Human Sciences’ Kilby Laboratory School is accepting applications for the position of Lead Teacher, Pre-K Four-Year Class. This position is responsible for instruction and oversight of a four-year-old, preschool classroom program. This position is a lead teacher position in an Alabama Department of Children’s Affairs Office of School Readiness classroom. Specific duties include planning and implementing age-appropriate daily activities for four-year-olds, designing and implementing pre-school curriculum, following the grant guidelines, and maintaining the classroom environment to maintain National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation standards. Successful candidates should have a keen understanding of early childhood education, child growth and development, and current technology skills, as well as the ability to supervise the auxiliary teacher and student workers is also necessary.
*This is a grant-funded position. Employment in this position is contingent upon funding by the sponsored agency.
