Tenure-Track, Assistant Professor, Occupational Therapy; Health Professions

JOB The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of Occupational Therapy in the Anderson College of Nursing and Health Professions to begin in Fall 2026. This position is responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate-level courses. Application review will begin immediately and continue until the position has been filled. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Essential duties include teaching various occupational therapy and occupational therapy assistant courses, including didactic and lab and/or fieldwork, and course development. Additional responsibilities include advising program students; maintaining office hours; serving on committees as necessary to maintain and improve instructional programs; participating in appropriate professional development activities; participating in scholarly activities and departmental/individual research; participating in service to the university and the community; and instructing and assisting in the growth and success of a varied population of students through careful preparation of course materials, effective teaching methods, and informed critical feedback on assignments and discussions.
