The research group of Heather Lewandowski at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a postdoctoral position in Physics Education Research focused on quantum laboratory courses.
This position centers on studying student learning, skill development, and career preparation in undergraduate and graduate quantum lab environments. A key component of the project is investigating outcomes from a capstone-style course in which students collaborate with quantum industry partners to complete authentic, team-based projects. The postdoc will also contribute to research on how such courses can be adapted and scaled across institutions to support the growing quantum workforce.

Qualifications
- Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, engineering, physics education, or a closely related field
- Some knowledge of quantum mechanics
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Interest in education research and student learning
Prior experience in Physics Education Research is not required, but a demonstrated interest in the field is expected.
