Telemetry Monitor Technician
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night | 12-hour shifts | 3 days per week
Pay Rate: $30 – $32 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Monitor Technician to join our healthcare team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms and recognizing any abnormal patterns or changes that may indicate a potential emergency.
This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs for multiple patients on telemetry
- Recognize and report any changes or abnormalities to nursing and medical staff immediately
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of cardiac monitoring data
- Ensure telemetry equipment is functioning properly and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of a Telemetry or Cardiac Monitoring program preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry monitoring experience
- Ability to interpret EKG rhythms accurately
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Experience with hospital monitoring systems and electronic medical records preferred
