Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe and effective care to patients receiving dialysis treatment in Williston, North Dakota. Candidates must have chronic dialysis experience and be willing to read the water room and use a bicarbonate (bicarb) mixer. Training will be provided for these responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients receiving chronic dialysis treatments.
- Assess patients before, during, and after dialysis procedures.
- Monitor vital signs and patient responses throughout treatment.
- Operate dialysis equipment and follow established treatment protocols.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition during dialysis.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and dialysis treatment documentation.
- Follow infection-control procedures and dialysis safety standards.
- Monitor and report concerns related to dialysis equipment and water quality.
- Read the water room and use the bicarb mixer, with training provided.
- Educate patients about dialysis treatments and ongoing care needs.
- Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support patient outcomes.
Must-Have Experience & Skills
- Chronic dialysis experience – Required
- Must be willing to read the water room.
- Must be willing to use a bicarbonate (bicarb) mixer; training will be provided.
- Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills.
- Ability to recognize and respond to treatment-related complications.
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
