Job Description – RN - ER
This RN - ER night shift role in Enumclaw is ideal for nurses who excel under pressure and remain steady, compassionate, and sharp when emergencies strike. You’ll manage a wide range of urgent and emergent cases, blending your ER expertise with the reliable support of Universal HCR throughout your assignment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform rapid triage and assessment for emergency patients
- Manage trauma, cardiac events, respiratory emergencies, and high-acuity cases
- Administer medications, initiate IVs, and perform lifesaving interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to stabilize patients
- Operate ER equipment including cardiac monitors and defibrillators
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and care outcomes accurately
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Uphold ER protocols, safety standards, and infection control
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ER RN experience
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
- Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ASN or BSN)
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of emergency care procedures
- Proficiency with emergency equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in dynamic situations
