Job Title: Endoscopy Technician
Location: Long Beach, CA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift, 8 hours, 5 days per week

Pay Range: 39 to 42 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician to support endoscopic procedures in a fast paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and properly set up
- Assist physicians and nurses during endoscopic procedures
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy instruments and equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Ensure proper handling and storage of scopes and related supplies
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues
- Follow all infection control and safety protocols
- Provide patient support and ensure comfort during procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy Tech experience
- Knowledge of endoscopic equipment, cleaning processes, and safety standards
- Certification as a GI Technician preferred but not required
- Current BLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a high volume setting
