Assistant Property Manager
Overview
We’re looking for a driven and organized Assistant Property Manager to support day-to-day operations and help keep our community running smoothly. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, working closely with the Property Manager to drive occupancy, maintain resident satisfaction, and hit financial goals.
What You’ll Do
- Support daily property operations, leasing, and resident relations
- Assist with rent collection, delinquency management, and financial reporting
- Help maintain accurate records, lease files, and property data
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring property performance
- Respond to resident concerns and help ensure a high level of customer service
- Support marketing and leasing efforts to maintain strong occupancy
- Coordinate with vendors and assist with invoice processing
- Help oversee unit turns and ensure apartments are move-in ready
- Conduct property walks to maintain community standards and identify issues
- Assist with scheduling and supporting on-site team members
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable housing laws
What We’re Looking For
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Solid communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Working knowledge of leasing, operations, and property management preferred
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and property management software
- 1 year of property management experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- CAM, CPM, or ARM certifications are a plus
