Apartment Groundskeeper / Porter
Overview
We’re looking for a dependable Groundskeeper/Porter to help keep our community clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role supports the maintenance team with daily upkeep, light repairs, and unit turns while helping create a great environment for our residents.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain the overall cleanliness of the community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas
- Pick up trash, debris, and pet waste daily to keep the property looking its best
- Assist with make-ready tasks for vacant units (cleaning, painting, minor repairs)
- Complete minor maintenance tasks and service requests when assigned
- Support preventative maintenance efforts across the property
- Help maintain pool areas, including skimming, basic chemical checks, and general upkeep
- Replace light bulbs, air filters, and perform other basic maintenance tasks
- Assist with light plumbing and electrical work under supervision
- Monitor the community for safety hazards and report issues promptly
- Keep maintenance shops, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized
- Distribute notices to residents as needed
- Support the team with general daily tasks and special projects
