Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Capture Quality information accurately by validating data, gages, layouts…etc.
- Report Quality results to all relevant parties and maintain Quality records/documentation using approved quality tools, gages, CMM, FARO Arms and associated equipment.
- Insure communications with Engineering and Manufacturing departments; use judgment to modify measurement techniques when necessary; report rejected parts and materials analysis to supervisor.
- Maintain inspection records for accuracy to better control future inspection needs.
- Monitor and maintain all inspection areas and equipment.
- 5-10 years of CMM experience
- Thorough understanding of dimensionally correct fixtures
- Practical knowledge of Faro Laser Tracker
- Practical knowledge of PolyWorks Software
- Frequently moves, lifts, transports, positions, and installs equipment and material greater than 20lbs
