Job Description: Programming and Operating Coordinate Measuring Machines to ensure best quality products and services.Reporting to: General Manager – Select Tool USA Inc.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:• Develop CMM programs based on job line-up.• Measure and adjust checking fixtures and gauges to meet final tolerance specifications.• Perform overall functionality and appearance quality checks.• Develop certification and measurement reports.• Perform gauge R&R’s as well as part layouts.• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities.• Verify and maintain equipment accuracy as well as work area cleanliness and order.• Other duties as required.Requirements:• Knowledge of PC-DMIS and SolidWorks software an asset.• Relevant experience with automotive checking fixtures.• Ability to read, understand, and interpret part prints, product specifications, and GD&T.• Efficient planning and execution of tasks.• Excellent verbal and writing communication skills.• Strong Mechanical background is considered an asset.Education:• Minimum High School diploma.• Technical School Graduate or equivalent experience in a related manufacturing environment.
