PROJECT MANAGER
Location: Oklahoma City, OK, Hybrid
Contract: 12 months with option to renew
Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a Project Management Office (PMO) and manage projects from initiation through completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for project direction, coordination, execution, control, and closure while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with organizational objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage medium to extra-large complexity projects through the full project life cycle.
• Develop project scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Apply Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
• Manage project teams, stakeholders, vendors, and subject matter experts.
• Develop project status reports and track key project metrics.
• Manage project risks, issues, changes, dependencies, and escalations.
• Implement change management practices throughout the project life cycle.
• Forecast, manage, and acquire resources required to achieve project objectives.
• Manage vendor relationships and project deliverables.
• Manage contract processes from initiation through closure.
• Conduct gap analysis and root cause analysis and provide recommendations.
• Facilitate meetings and group activities with various stakeholders.
• Ensure project activities and deliverables comply with applicable organizational, state, or federal guidelines.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience managing medium to large or highly complex projects.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Project (MS Project).
• Understanding and experience with PMI PMBOK Guide and Standards.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor, and project team management skills.
• Experience with project budgeting, resource management, risk mitigation, and change management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to effectively facilitate meetings and collaborate with staff at all levels.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
• Minimum 3 days onsite per week in Oklahoma City, with additional onsite days as required by project needs.
• Standard working hours are between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
• Overtime is not approved.
