Looking for a position with a company that is willing to invest in your future? NetFabric is a Managed Services Provider based in the greater Oklahoma City area and we are growing fast. We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager reporting to the Client Services organization.
This role is responsible for the successful delivery of technical client projects, serving as the primary point of accountability for project scope, timeline, budget, and technical outcomes. The Technical Project Manager ensures that IT infrastructure, cloud, security, and managed services initiatives are delivered in alignment with business objectives, technical standards, and client expectations.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients and internal technical teams to ensure deliverables fall within approved scope and budget, while managing risks, dependencies, and change throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, ensuring technical requirements, constraints, and implementation feasibility are clearly documented.
- Manage project scope, schedule, costs, and change control using HaloPSA.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and communicate progress to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors, including engineers, architects, security, and service delivery teams.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and aligned to approved technical designs and security standards.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, including technical dependencies and implementation challenges.
- Organize and facilitate project meetings and provide accurate status reporting to management.
- Oversee implementation activities including migrations, cutovers, testing, validation, and go-live events.
- Ensure projects meet operational readiness requirements prior to transition into managed services.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including implementation plans and technical handoff materials.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Formal education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 5 years of experience managing technical IT projects within an MSP, systems integrator, or enterprise IT environment.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Experience working closely with technical teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, communication, time management, and facilitation skills.
- Working knowledge of IT professional services and managed services delivery models.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience delivering infrastructure, cloud (Azure/AWS/Microsoft 365), networking, or security projects.
- Familiarity with ITIL, service transition, and production change management practices.
- Working knowledge of HaloPSA.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification.
This position is a hybrid schedule with onsite attendance in our Oklahoma City office three days per week.
