Qualifications:

Specialized Experience: You qualify for the GS-15 level (starting salary $169,279.00) if you possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level performing duties such as:
- Providing guidance to senior executives on all matters related to mission assignment within their respective divisions.
- Reviewing and analyzing programs and training support functions to increase productivity, efficiency, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Establishing policies and procedures for the effective and economical operations of various programs.
- Planning and leading the work of subordinates to manage day-to-operations.

Responsibilities:
The selectee will serve as a Supervisory Management and Program Analyst in the Office of Training, James J Rowley Training Center. Typical work assignments include:
- Serve as the principal advisor and provide resource management information and guidance to the executive leadership and other high-level personnel on all matters pertaining to mission assignment within their respective divisions.
- Provide recommendations to the leadership of USSS Headquarters (HQ) regarding establishing program processes to maintain the effective utilization of personnel and financial resources necessary to support the division mission, training readiness, equipment maintenance, and supply missions.
- Participate in meetings with other management officials to discuss major program changes, reorganization, as well as equipment needs.
- Plan the overall objectives to be accomplished by subordinate supervisors, set priorities, evaluate performance of subordinates; give advice when required; counsel of instruction to individual employees on both mission objective and administrative matters, interview candidates for positions in the Directorate and make recommendations for appointment, promotion, or reassignment involving such positions.
- Provide management oversight and evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of overall processes and procedures.
